I am struggling a little with this review. I am not sure how I feel about this book. It was well written and captured my attention right away. The premise was intriguing, the "mystery" interesting and gripping. However, the ending (although a surprise) came out of left field (to me). It did not feel or seem to fit where I thought the story was going or follow with the information/clues that were provided. The ending also seemed rushed, the author spent a lot of time building and weaving the story, only to quickly wrap up. I liked the lead character, she was strong and decisive, (not whiney or too cold). There is potential here. I believe this is a start to a series, I would certainly read a second book.
