This book is awesome. The main female character is a young detective who still struggles with her sister's death and a breakup. The book opens up with the main character cleaning up her sister's gravestone to celebrate her death day. Her other sister and niece arrive at the gravesite. They celebrate their sisters and aunts death. The young detective finds out that her niece is practicing wiccan. They go their separate way. The detective meets up with her coworkers at a pub. One coworker gets drunk and the detective takes him home where the story really begins. A detectives pregnant wife is dead. The young detective must solve the case as well as trying to solve a cold case. Murder+witches+drugs+a surprise confession= a page Turner.
