I'm a sucker for a police procedural. And this one screams GIMME GIMME GIMME, PLEASE. Everything about this is setting up to be a good mystery. Female lead, 9 missing people right out the gate, a dead pregnant woman, a dead pregnant woman's secret life. This is looking like a four star minimum already.
The cover isn't bad. It goes along with the synopsis. The woman looking away could be the MC or the DB. I like the school in the background since the dead pregnant woman is a schoolteacher. So all in all a fitting cover
