I’m not a huge fan of the police detective serving as the protagonist, so that alone makes me a little less excited about this book. That aside, it sounds like a suspenseful mystery/thriller, and the first chapter grabbed me. The other chapters seemed to slow the pace down some, but otherwise, I think this book has potential!
