My first impression of Trace of Evil is that the story is a good thriller with interesting police procedural elements. Natalie Lockhart is a well developed character, as far as I can see from the short sneak peek, and is someone worth getting to know. Trace of Evil is a novel that I would seek out from my local library or bookstore, as I am a fan of the genre.
