I'm not going to lie, I was drawn in by the cover. The imagery of the vines and moths is eerie yet beautiful. Based on what I read in the preview chapters, it seems like it will be a good indication of what the book itself will be like.

I already want to know more about why Sophie Greene decided to attend a meeting in a strange church, and why she disappeared. I also want to know if Vrees is involved with the Sophie's disappearance, and if he will somehow wind up being connected to the cult and helping them try to harm Wil and Elwood. And as devastated as she is about her mother's disappearance, Wilhelmina takes the situation into her own hands and refuses to let answers slip away.

The writing style is simple and easy to follow. The book is written in first person, and there is a good amount of dialogue mixed in. I have a feeling that it will rise in intensity as with each passing chapter, drawing the reader in more and more.
