To the Waters & the Wild, Review
So... what to say about this book. The synopsis looks absolutely perfect in every way-- exactly the kind of story I could really sink my teeth into. I get the feeling that my inattention was probably just me struggling through a book hangover so please give this book a chance if it looks interesting to you.
I just simply could not get into it-- the prose was difficult to get into, and the characters were difficult to really relate to. I loved the celtic/ eire theme, and as a true blood descendent of these people I felt like it should have struck a chord inside me but I simply found it too slow and too difficult.
I didn't finish it, but my goal is to someday return to this book and give it the attention it deserves.
