Opened with suspense and a little bit of magic. The characters, especially Keelin were amazing.
S. C. McGrath showed true writing skills. Her talents came out in the actions of the characters, the setting, and the over-all effect of the plot. For instance, in chapter Fifteen, the details were remarkable, and the way Keelin explained how she felt during this episode. And how she fought back the scream. I actually heard that slight moan that almost came out of her mouth. That took excellent writing skills to do that. To let me know how Keelin felt at that precise moment. There are other places through-out the book that caught my attention too. And the love, hate war she had going on with the warrior Brian. Will Keelin find happiness? A sad surprise ending indeed. Great book!
