Unfortunately this book was so incredibly boring that it was nearly impossible to get through. The idea is interesting and captivating but I'm so sad to say it wasn't entertaining enough for the book to really catch my eye or make me feel like I was reading a fun historical fiction book. While the writing style was unique, I felt like I was reading a book that had no truly interesting characters or plot lines. I am so so so disappointed because I truly did think this book was going to be a home run, however it was just a walk to first base. I do think the characters and story had potential, but the concept just wasn't interesting enough to get behind a slow paced and boring novel like this one.
