I really wanted to like this book even after reading the first impression. It thought there would be so much more to "To The Waters and The Wild," I felt like the book just dragged on forever and then there was parts in the book that I felt was just thrown in to try to make it more interesting and lost some of the flow in this book. I usually try to read through the first hundred pages as some books are a little slower to take off and can be amazing once it starts, but I seriously couldn't get pass 75 pages in this book. I love reading, but I just found myself making excuses to not read and knew that this book just was not for me unfortunately. I was rooting for Keelin to be a much stronger character in the book than what she was. She was the main character, however I definitely didn't feel like she was a strong character and she was so unsure of herself to really stand up and express herself.
