Beautiful cover and mystical story!
This book had a little bit of everything and the ending had me crying. While I found that this book dragged on a bit at times, I really liked the overall plot. Youll enjoy Keelin's character and the story will keep you interested until the last page. The love story between Keelin and Brian was great to read about and a great escape from the modern world.
This historical fiction was set in a time period I hadn't previously read about, so that was particularly interesting. As Keelin's country is on the brink of invasion, she had to find a way to use her discovered powers to aide her countrymen. The setting is beautifully described and you'll feel transported back in time. This is one those books that the cover sparked my interested, but the writing held it.
