Mythology, magic, warfare, poetry, this book was a wonderful wonderful read. When I initially received the book I was in the middle of another book and somehow this one got me hooked. At first I wondered if it was like the Outlander series but it turned out that this one was better. My first impression on how one could claim blending warfare and magic was mesmerizing. I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to read and review this book. I had never heard of the author before I had a preview of the book and boy was I surprised. When you are dragged into a novel from the word go or in this case, the first paragraph you know for sure that you have a winner. Needless to say, the cover was lovely.
