I do realize that somehow in the last month my reading has gotten a lot more constrictive and I have been much more critical about the books that I want to spend my time reading. However, this wouldn't have made the cut even before this started. I don't know why fantasy writers have started getting a lot more lazy with their plots and ideas but this all just sounded like something bad that I've already read and from the firstlook this doesn't seem like it'd be anything different or better.
