This was the first book I’ve read by. Cristopher Paolini but it certainly will not be the lest. His writing is magnificent to read, every description jumping off the page as if I’m watching a movie instead of reading a book. He masterfully crafted a world with fantastic characters that have me wanting to read ten more books set in it right now! I loved the sci-fi elements, it brought a really cool vibe to the story but it was very intro to sci-fi so it shouldn’t be too hard for non sci-fi lovers to get into.
Also - there are space squids?! Haha that’s so hilarious, I would never think of stuff like that!
Overall, this was a very creative, well written book that people of any age will love and cherish. It’s the type of book that people will continue to read for years to come and then read to their children after that. Well done, well thought out and extremely fun!
