To Sleep In A Sea of Stars (2020) . 4⭐️

As a thank you to Netgalley and the publisher Macmillian publisher for an advanced audiobook of Christopher Paolini’s novel “ To Sleep In a Sea of Stars” narrated by Jennifer Hale. The novel follows Kira Navarez and a team of scientists exploring distant planets in the hope they are suitable for human life. For Kira who has had lifelong aspirations in finding life on distant planets, a comes across a discovery that will change life as she knows it. The novels' attention to scientific terms adds to Hale’s narration for it made the conversations even more believable for they were said with such certainty and ease. The audiobooks' narrator brought life to the role of Kira and held my attention as the character grew throughout the novel. It is amazing to think that Hale voiced all the characters. The mixture of the many characters human and not is acting at its best. The pace in which Hale read gave a clear understanding of the material and gave me extra room to increase the speed. In doing this was I still able to comprehend the material being read and enjoy it at a pace with audiobooks I am accustomed to. As War entered the story did Hale’s narration adds to the depth and complexity to which the characters were experiencing in this futuristic reality. The mixture of suspense and drama will suit any reader no matter if they are a reader of science fiction or not.
