When I was a young reader, I loved The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. Who doesn't want to read about dragons. Also a very brilliant and young writer who puts so much detail into his novels. I was excited that his newest novel To Sleep in a Sea of Stars was his newest novel. Initially, I was a little disappointed that is was not a fantasy novel because of how much I enjoyed them. Paolini is a versatile and masterful writer therefore this new science fiction novel was just as well done as the Inheritance Cycle. You could tell that he really did his homework on astrophysics and constellations. The diagrams in the novel were very helpful and enriched my reading experience. From a childhood favorite to now a new favorite adult novel. Christopher Paolini is a wonderful author and no matter what genre of novel he is writing from he is an amazing writer.
