Romance in a Well Constructed Future Space Society

I was not sure what to expect from the cover design and title, and I was pleased to enjoy the story of Alan and Kira's romance in a futuristic space society. These two characters manage to balance their scientific space explorations with a very realistic romance. Kira's emotions are as believable as any contemporary, commercial fiction story, but I like the fact that she fulfills the obligations of her job, even though those involve personal risk. The preview chapters definitely end at the precise point to make the readers anxious to finish the rest of the book.
