I read this sample three times because I can't get enough of this story! The world building is well-paced and intricate, and I'm interested in learning more about the colonies and the technology. I also thought that the way the characters interacted does well to get the reader invested in the story.
The cliffhanger we were left with was brilliant and entirely believable! How harmless is dust normally that we wouldn't even think about sweeping it away? As the main character realized what was happening, my heart was pounding. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of this book to find out what happens next!
