I'm so excited to see Christopher Paolini publishing another book! I was obsessed with his Inheritance cycle, anxiously awaiting each new release and each book was better than the last! Working in the genetics space myself, I love that he has switched gears in terms of premise and is now tackling a more sci-fi fantasy combo narrative. Kira's character is so intriguing as female heroines in sci-fi are so rare. The first two chapters reminded me of Sanderson's skyward series in the best way, and I cannot wait to read more!
