I remember reading Christopher Paolini's Inheritance series when I was younger. I am so excited to see he has begun a series that seems a bit more adult! Kira and Alan are instantly relatable. A young, hardworking couple who are going to find a way to be together, despite their work. But, of course, nothing can go as planned! I hate being left with a cliffhanger like this (especially because lord knows how long it will be before I get to read this book!!), but it was an excellent cliffhanger.
