When I realized that this book was set in space, I had little interest in it. I tend to avoid sci-fi and especially books set in space. However, the relationship dynamic between the main character and her boyfriend immediately drew me in. I found myself rooting for them, even though I knew something would happen to separate them. I’m now invested in finding out whether they can come back together in the end or if the main character’s experiences will change her forever.
