I was so excited to have won a copy of this! The story is as intriguing as the cover. Jenny moved to New York to escape her past and pursue art. I found her to be both relatable and harsh at times. Minx, and Ben genuinely care about her, but she is too paranoid to let anyone in. She sometimes reads as monochromatic as her light studies. It can be deceiving because I loved her color game, which shows how she limits herself.

That all changed at Tiffany's artist retreat, Laurelton Hall. It was a bit predictable at times, but Jenny remains a sympathetic character. When she meets Oliver, the reader might cross their fingers in the hope that Jenny will finally be able to let go and truly feel. The details were stunning! I appreciated the historical aspects and really felt transported. Thanks again, Bookish!
