As a general fan of historical fiction, these first few chapters really drew me in, just the author's note had me hooked! I loved the 1920s setting and fun references to things like Ouija boards. So far there is a perfect blend of historical atmosphere, mystery, and promise of romance to come. Also loving that the story is told from an artist's point of view! At first all the artistic descriptions of everything felt a little forced, but then you see that it's part of the character and it feels more genuine.

Can't wait to read more about Tiffany's mansion, and hoping our heroine will find some exciting romance when she gets there. The cover for this one is gorgeous! Was glad that, since 'blue' is in the title, there was blue in the cover design as well. Having a piece of art significant to the story would also have been a satisfying cover.
