First, the cover for this book is phenomenal. I wanted to read it based on just the cover art and for how amazing the synopsis sounded. This book wasn’t what I expected and I was so happy about that. I’m not familiar with this level of Greek mythology so I was pleasantly surprised about how unique it felt. I got invested into it pretty quickly. The mystery was interesting and I wanted to follow along with Edie & Io the whole time. I was rooting for them as a fated pair and loved seeing them work together.

This fantasy world felt so rich and alive and unlike other fantasy worlds. I was actually able to follow along and understand what was going on. You can tell the author put a lot of time into the world building and the different types of abilities within the world. Seeing all the different types of powers people possessed was so fun. I also loved Io and her friends. Nico seemed really cute and I hope he comes back more. Not everyone can be good and not everyone can be bad. Something that might seem evil may just be “necessary”. I loved how many red herrings and plots twists were put throughout.

The only thing that irked me was the end with Thais and Ava. It didn’t really make too much sense to me. Ava just ignored everything she heard for someone she hasn’t seen around in 2 years? Maybe it can be explained in the next book what she was thinking. All in all the pacing was good and the story was beautifully written. I liked how the book was split into 3 parts for the 3 sisters. I can’t wait for the next book for vengeance!!
