This story is tugging on my heartstrings

I loved this first look! I love how subtle yet structured the world building is so far, so much so that I got through so many pages of this first look without ever feeling burdened by long descriptions or confusing backstory. I was instantly drawn to the main character Io and her mannerisms, and know that this story will resonate with me. I can't wait to read and learn more about this world.

Also, that cover is to die for. I love the style of it and think it is well suited to the book!
