Red and Blue are agents on opposite sides in a time war, yet they find themselves inexplicably drawn to one another. Told through a series of events and letters, Red and Blue discover the price of falling in love when there is a war going on.
This book swept me away. I loved the world building, and how there was just enough description of Red and Blue’s respective worlds to draw you in but still give you opportunity to flex your imagination. I’m not usually one for reading a book that focuses on a romance plot, but this was more than a romance novel. It was about destiny, and loyalty, and how ugly things like war can bloom into a beautiful thing.
This is How You Lose the Time War is a fantastic read, and I think will even improve on multiple readings.
