This isn't a book that'll appeal to everyone, and not every time is the right time to read it. The writing style is lyrical and poetical, making this at times beautiful and gripping, and at times flat. With vague plot and as minimal world-building and info as possible, the story focuses on the letters the two enemy agents exchange through time and requires of the reader to do the same. This is how the story is best enjoyed—without asking many questions and just watching the love story slowly unfold. It might not be one of those books you'll go back to again and again, but it's a story that'll definitely stay with you for a long, long time.

I'm looking forward to reading the authors' future stories!
