I’ll be honest I’m not sure what to say about this one. It was romance but definitely outside the norm for me. ⠀

Red and Blue are agents of the time war working for opposite sides. The majority of the story is told through their letters to each other as they fall in love. A very different enemies to lovers story. The story line is science fiction based and almost seems to assume a basis of knowledge from the reader. ⠀

This one was not my typical romance read. It was beautifully written but at times hard to follow along. I’m thinking about rereading it again in a bit and seeing if I get more out of it. I’ve seen the letters described as poetry which I think is a good description. I think it’s being adapted into Tv and I’d be interested in seeing it play out visually.
