“At the end as at the start, and through all the in-betweens, I love you.”

This is How You Lost the Time War was unlike any other book I've read. The storytelling, the plot, the characters *Chef's kiss*.
I'm not sure where this book is on my list of favorite books, but it is definitely up there. Blue and Red broke my heart in the best ways, I was hooked from start to finish. Their love story was breathtaking, the central point of the story. I did wish we got some more information on what the Time War was.
It was hard to follow at times because of how the story was told, but I think part of this was on purpose, becuase of the preface of the time war. It was so lyrical and abstract, but I don't know that I could have read Blue and Red's story any other way. Their story could only be told through a form of poetry that is this book.
This book was a lot to process and it left me with a book hanger that I hadn't experienced in a long while.
