I absolutely loved the concept of this book and how original it was. However, because of the way it was written and how Blue and Red sounded almost the same (at least to me) I had a lot of trouble reading more than a couple chapters at a time. The first couple chapters were so intriguing to me because of how different it seemed from anything I have ever read, but the writing style made me struggle to follow the plot and left me searching for dialogue and context. Even after getting around halfway through the book I felt like I only vaguely understood where they were located in the story and felt like a lot more background information was needed to understand Red and Blue's place and importance in this futuristic world.
Like I said, the original concept behind this book is what kept me reading until the end. I do feel like I liked the last portion of the book the most, and I'm tempted to reread it and try to see if reading through it all in one sitting will change the way I feel about the writing.
