What a very interesting, gorgeous book.

Let me tell you, I was confused first of how this book was written. What is Red and what is Blue? Were they people once? Are they still people? Are they half machine half human? Or a completely different form of being?

Or maybe I am thinking too much into this book.

This book reminds me of the way that The 7.5 Deaths of Evelyn Hardscastle was done - out of order, jumping through different points in time, but in this book we add history to the mix. We also add different time lines, too. One team trying to destroy the world while the other save it?

The end was the best treat and made the whole entire book click.

HOWEVER, I still find the concept of who/what Red/Blue are. Which is why I ranked it down a star for that reason alone.

This book is not for everyone and a lot of people will dismiss it and or become confused by it. Yet sometimes I like to rate past the aspect if a book is accessible to be enjoyed by everyone.
