First of all, I will say that this audiobook is beautifully narrated, and the narrators added a lot of depth to the characters. Hearing the different narrators helped me distinguish between Red and Blue in a way that I don't think I could have from reading.
I typically really love sci fi novellas, but this one way not my favorite. The writing was really beautiful, but I couldn't connect to the characters or world the way I wanted. Because I didn't understand the world completely, the stakes didn't feel as high as I think they were meant to. I feel like this could have been fleshed out more with the world building, and it would have served the story well.
I would read more from these authors, but this just wasn't what I hoped it would be.
