This Is How You Lose The Time War seems too familiar, like I have read a book, seen a movie or viewed a television show with a similar concept. I am on the fence as to whether I would invest the time in a book such as this, as it is not my usual genre for reading. I might check the book out from the library, if time allowed, but I do not think I would purchase it. The cover art is striking, but I am not sure if it really fits the theme of the book.
