Everything time I think I'm out, they pull me back in.

When people ask me, I tell them that I don't like Sci-Fi. I don't read Sci-Fi. I don't get Sci-Fi. So why, then, does the beginning of this story absolutely delight me? The playful way that these authors approach the space-time continuum is fun to read. When I read the summary page for the title, I was convinced that I was going to be utterly lost for this one. There were so many advanced Sci-Fi concepts going on here that there was no way the writing was going to be clear for me. This First Look was a pleasant surprise. It was easy to understand, and it teased just enough of the coming story to get me hooked. When you can get someone who doesn't read the genre to get excited based on 6 pages of writing, I think you've got something special.
