Wow! This book caught my attention from the first word to the last acknowledgment. Jill goes to an ultra exclusive private school on a super secret merit scholarship. We meet Jill post tragedy when her best friend is murdered. Not all the details of this murder sits well with Jill and some of the other ‘players’ (the name for the ultimate clique that she belongs to). Over time the story unfolds and we get the true picture. I’ll admit I fell for the red herring before we finally get the real picture. My favorite part is when Jill shows how much she’s grown in this final year of high school. Excellent read! Many thanks to Bookish First and Razorbill publishing for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review.
