First of all, the cover is perfect - it immediately told me that I'd be reading about rich kids at private school doing bad things. And the story completely delivered!

I really liked Jill and her growth as a character throughout the story - she was simultaneously loyal and true to herself in a refreshing way. With secret societies, murder, and her future at stake I was absolutely drawn in from the beginning and had to know what happened to Shaila! The romantic tension between Jill and her crush, Adam, was enrapturing and you won't believe the twists!

Although this book was set on Long Island and easily could have been unrealistic, I thought that Jessica balanced the rich shenanigans with relatable and down-to-earth characters.
