They Wish They Were Us is set at an elite prep school. It follows a group of popular seniors at the school. This group of elite seniors call themselves The Players. They have a close bond with each other. However, not everything is as great as it may seem. They are haunted by the death of one of their best friends. There are secrets hidden. Secrets that will eventually unravel. I read a few chapters of the book and was excited by the interesting sounding plot. However, I found myself bored. I might continue the book though, I have a feeling it might get better as the story drags on. The book does have a really slow start though, and is kind of confusing at first. I do like the cover, it captures a ''creepy prep school'' vibe.
