The prep school murder mystery trope caught me right away. I'm a big fan of Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars so this sounded like the perfect read for me. The main character Jill is cool, relatable, and though the title makes her and her friends sound conceited, they (thankfully) don't come off that way in the story. They have their flaws which makes them seem human instead of fake, uberperfect characters.

I like how the story reads easy, like a regular high school drama before dropping the big issue, even though we all know it's coming. The author does a great job at creating tension all over the book so that there are many small mysteries and situations running alongside the main plot point. Very good read, would love to read in its entirety.
