The premise of this book was so enticing, a Gossip Girl like murder mystery that gave me Veronica Mars vibes. Jill's finally made it to senior year and swears everything will be different. She's a part of the elite group called the Players and while they appear to run the school, we find out what really goes on within this exclusive group. Jill swore this year would be different and it turns out she was right. She begins getting mysterious text messages about the death of her friend and what really happened that night.
I love a good mystery and I love reading about rich elite teenagers, so this book was calling to me! I was completely immersed in the world of Gold Coast Prep. I did predict the ending but that didn't take away from my love of the characters and plot of this book.
