The prologue made me want to read this novel, as it’s designed to do; I want to know the truth behind the death of Shaila. The circle of friends sounds a little like a cliche group of rich, preppy kids, so I can’t wait to see what secrets they all hide. This is an excerpt that keep me scrolling to the end and wanting more.
