I was immediately interested in this one based on the comparison to One of Us is Lying which I loved! The prologue starts off on the perfect note with an interesting narrator, a typical teen but clearly with a dark side within. The mystery of how Shaila died and why the narrator says she was anything but good immediately has me hooked to keep reading!
I love the friendships I'm seeing here and curious to see more of how they're dealing with Shaila's death now a couple years in the past. I'm very interested to see how the relationships develop as the book progresses.
I think the cover is fantastic, it immediately sells that this is a thriller and having the title in jewelry draws the eye!
