Wow, I really like it.
I didn't think this book would surprise me and like it so much π€© I love the story that I think the author and the setting tell me. A quick read, overall I had a good time reading it.
I feel like all the school drama, the envy among those who play a sport, and the pressure to do everything right in order to go to a good college was handled very well. There's also enough drama besides the murder mystery to keep the reader invested in multiple storylines.
The characters are very well built, you can see an evolution, a change in them.
The tragedy that occurs has a good reason and the guilty person ππΎππΎππΎ was what surprised me the most, I didn't expect that.
My only complaint is the absence of parents, it's as if young people live in a world without adults and parents in a world without children πππ In children, you don't see that fear of reprisals or concern on the part of the parents.
