They'll Never Catch Us by Jessica Goodman is an up-and-coming young adult thriller writer that I have been meaning to check out since her debut novel, They Wish They Were Us. I am not usually a big fan of young adult thrillers, would rather read adult thrillers, but this was a good one.
I enjoyed that the novel had short chapters and I was able to fly through this one pretty quickly. I liked the main plot, the great female characters, and that the author was able to keep my attention while I waited to find out the murder mystery and the twists of the plot. It focuses a lot on cross country and as a person that is not a fan of sports that was the main aspect I did not care for.
I recommend checking out this well-done young adult thriller. It was a great read and I will be checking out more from Jessica Goodman in the future.
