This is going on my must-read list immediately! I love a good thriller, but I am also a former high school runner (I still run as an adult) but I could relate to much of the running and cross county references this book makes. I really liked Stellaβs character and the competition Mia will bring her. Now mix in a good thriller and this is my type of book. I also thought the book did a good job of addressing current social issues such as mental health/alcoholism and LGBTQ+ youth. As a current middle school teacher, I appreciate that books are being written featuring LGBTQ+ youth.
