The Wrong Kind of Weird is a quirky young adult romantic comedy coming of age book geared to the younger crowd. This story reminds me of all those 80s movies, some kind of wonderful and can't buy me love. This book is full of nerdy fun! Cosplay and comic cons. Popular girls and geeky boys. Funny side characters with witty duologue. Overall this was a quick read with a typical outcome ending. I didn't hate the book nor absolutely love the book. I can see some readers loving the coming of age storyline, me personally I knew what was coming and found myself skimming sections of the book. Bright cover colors kind of set the tone of this book and are quite fitting for the story.
