Every year our library does a Ya competition from the beginning of the year until March and this year I wanted to use a Bookishfirst read for the competition. I won this book even tho it wasn't one I would initially choose because I like YA books from a girl's perspective rather than a dudes but I wanted to give this one a go because I do love the vibe of the cover and one of the characters has the same name as me, Karla.
This was a nerdy romantic comedy which you could tell from the title it was going to be more of a geek gets the girl rather than the jock which seems to be the typically go to Hs romance. I suppose Karla is the jock who is embarrassed to be with the nerd, Cameron Carson, or she just is in HS and doesn't know what she wants since I am trying to not give out any secrets in my review I'll keep it vague and confusing. It is a def recommend for all YA romance readers <3<3<3
