I found the first few chapters of this book extremely well written. The prose really draws you in and makes you want to know what happens next in the story. That being said, I found it very difficult to believe/relate to the story because I grew up in that part of Minnesota and cliques were very different than what was shown here because the public high schools were so big. Additionally we know almost nothing about the main character, Cam, as compared to every other character in the story which left me feeling somewhat lukewarm toward the story.
