I love the cover and synopsis so I was really excited to give this one a try. The writing is ok...but it really sounded like someone in my age group (30s) was trying to write from the perspective of a teenager. I also wasn't a fan of the beginning characters shaming Karla for what she was wearing. It got better for me as the story progressed so I will be giving it a go.
