First off I loved the cover of this book! So creepy and cool! I liked the companionship of the girls but they are so unprepared to do any kind of hiking. Not surprising that things go wrong! I liked the humor between the two in the beginning, always poking fun at each other. It’s easy to see that they are both so scared to be without each other.

I loved the creepy descriptive setting and eerie atmosphere. I just knew something bad was going to happen and i was on edge and just had to keep turning the pages! I also liked how the “chapters” were more like sections of when the girls are traveling together and when they are apart.

I think that there could have been a little more development to some of the characters and that parts of it feel rushed, but overall it kept me turning the pages. More info on Josie’s background would be nice and it’s cool that Neena’s parents immigrated from India.

All in all I thought it was a well written and is definitely something people may not want to read while camping, unless you’re like me and love to scare yourself! I definitely recommend this book.
