My immediate impression after reading the first chapter is that it would be a great book for my book club. Several of the members are of Irish descent and they love reading books about Ireland. Our favorite genre is historical fiction, and I like the fact that this book is based on history.... and it wasn't that long ago. All of us were alive in the 1970's. The book seems so relevant to current times and the issues women are facing today. I'm sure the book will make for an amazing discussion.
